Is this little girl adorable or what? Baby Grae was right at 2 weeks old when we did this session. She was perfect at posing & we had gorgeous light coming in through double French doors in her home. It was an easygoing session and I got to talk with her mom Stephanie and learn a good bit about their family. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to photograph your precious little one.
Carlee is very good friend of mine, she was in my wedding and I have known for a number of years. She and her little girl Adalynn better known as “Addee” came to visit us for a few days in Fort Walton. Addee had just turned two and this was her first trip to the Fort Walton Beach/Destin area. The last time I saw Addee she was 6 months old and wow has she gotten a personality since then. Robert and I are not used to having a two year old in the house since we haven’t started having children, but Addee has such a wonderful personality that she was an absolute joy.
Check out these images from my last newborn session with Wesley. We did Liz’s maternity session very close to the arrival of Wesley. I went to Liz & Curt’s home for this session. It was a beautiful day out so we took some shots outside and some in Wesley’s nursery. Wesley was very alert and interested in what was going on in the beginning, but soon relaxed and got very sleepy. We also did some cute athletic themed shots with Wesley because Liz & Curt are very into sports. After the session we went to lunch at this little place in Perdio where I got know more about Liz and Curt and how they met. I truly enjoyed the day & I appreciate Liz and Curt allowing me to photograph their family.
A warm congratulations goes out to Hudson. It’s been right at a year now since Emily and Brian delivered Hudson. This means that it was time to capture the one year. It was a beautiful day in Destin, Florida that was perfect for natural light. Hudson’s smile is just so adorable. He is the sweetest and happiest little boy. It’s about that time for him to start walking so the beach was the perfect place to give him some practice, even though the sand made it a little tough. It was obvious that Hudson was having a wonderful time playing on the beach with Mom and Dad. Like so many, this family was easy to work with and really get absorbed into the moment. So much so that at one point I became oblivious to my surroundings.
Imagine staring through a lens, capturing some perfect moments and really enjoying the time. It doesn’t hurt that you are on the beach in Florida and it is a beautiful day. At one point I was on the ground capturing different angles as Hudson plays. There was this one shot that I was trying to get and as I was about to click…Emily yells “WAVE” as she is scooping up Hudson. It was just in time as I was able to get my camera lifted so it didn’t get wet/dirty. Though, my outfit totally soaked. No matter what, it was a perfect session with some wonderful shots. Brian, Emily, and Hudson were such a joy to photograph and be around.
Wendy, Tom, and their two boys, Braxton and Noah, were here on vacation to visit the beaches of 30A and Destin, Florida. Wendy called me prior to their vacation so that we could plan out their shoot. They were really looking for that perfect beach photo that would capture their family. One of the cutest pictures we were able to capture was where I had Braxton and Noah staring off into the water holding hands. It is a really good example of how close they are as brothers. I really loved how the boys were little gentlemen as they called me Mrs. Tiffany throughout the entire session. I really enjoyed getting to know the entire family and they were a pleasure to photograph.
