Brewton Wedding Photography – Kayla and Jordan’s Wedding

I had the privilege of traveling to Brewton, AL. to photograph Kayla and Jordan’s wedding.  The ceremony took place at the First Baptist Church of Brewton and the party continued at the Brewton Country Club.  Kayla and Jordan are both super sweet and considerate, and it was so much fun getting to spend the day with them.  Thank you again for allowing Rebecca, Shelley and I to be a part of such a special time in your lives.  Here are a few of my favorites from their big day!

Pensacola Wedding Photography – Kerry and Tom’s Wedding

When Kerry and Tom booked me for their April 21st wedding on Pensacola Beach, we were hoping for a sunny beautiful day.  Despite the heavy rain and wind, it was a beautiful wedding and everyone had a blast.

Kerry, Tom, and Richard (step-dad and florist extraordinaire) came up with a beautiful color palette of champagne, nude and pale pink.  They did a fantastic job of putting all the elegant details together.  Kerry and Tom had quite a group at their wedding with many friends and family having traveled hundreds of miles.  Their families were so sweet, considerate and truly made us feel welcome.

Thank you to Rebecca, Robert and Megan K. for all your help throughout the day.  We are so happy to have been a part of Kerry and Tom’s big day!  We hope you both are enjoying your nice long honeymoon!  Enjoy some of my favorites from their day!

Destin Wedding Photography – Kristin and Bruce’s Wedding

I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and a happy New Year!  I am looking forward to what’s in store for 2012.  I recently had the honor of photographing Kristin and Bruce’s wedding.  It took place at Destin United Methodist Church with their reception right down the road at the Palms of Destin.  I had not met them before the wedding, but it was instantly obvious how much they love each other and their families.  Thank you for allowing me to capture your wonderful day!

Thank you to Rebecca for second shooting and hanging with me the whole day! :)

Fort Walton Beach Wedding Photography – Amanda and Brandon’s Wedding

I hope everyone is enjoying the holidays and looking forward to spending time with friends and family.  I am so thankful for this past year and for wonderful clients like Amanda and Brandon.   Amanda and Brandon are super sweet and I had a great time getting to know them and their families.  They were recently married at First United Methodist in Fort Walton Beach with their reception following at the Ramada Inn on Okaloosa Island.  Congrats Amanda and Brandon it was a beautiful day!  Here are a few of my favorites from their wedding day!  Thank you to Rebecca for second shooting with me and for all her help!

Pensacola Wedding Photography – Kim and Chris’s Wedding

Kim and Chris are good friends of ours and recently had their wedding ceremony on 9/10/11 on Pensacola Beach.  It was a beautiful wedding ceremony on a bright and gorgeous afternoon.  Kim made her own bouquet out of broaches and I think it turned out really neat.  Here are a few of my favorites!

Santa Rosa Beach Wedding Photography – Nikki and Bobby’s Wedding

Nikki and Bobby’s wedding took place at the beautiful Boone Terre beach house in Seacrest Beach over Labor Day Weekend.  Tropical Storm Lee was approaching fast so they made the call to move the wedding ceremony up from 5pm to 2pm because of the weather forecast.  Nikki and Bobby took a deep breath, relaxed and enjoyed their time with friends and family.  There is not much you can do about Mother Nature.  Thankfully the wedding took place on Seacrest Beach amongst the rain and the heavy winds.  The sky was beautiful for pictures and wind during the ceremony was seriously crazy.  They had approximately 100 guests who had traveled from all over the country and a tropical storm wasn’t scaring anyone away.

Nikki & Bobby released several doves during the ceremony to celebrate their marriage and in remembrance of Nikki’s grandfather.  They did a sand dollar toss at the water’s edge into the ocean where everyone made a wish.   The strong winds were actually blowing the sand dollar’s right back at the guests when they tried to throw them.  Nikki and her dad danced to the sweetest high energy song…Sheena and I tried our best to keep up with them on the balcony.

Towards the end of the reception the wedding party and several guests went back out onto the beach to watch the enormous waves and enjoy the beautiful beach.  This is where the wedding party and guests started having a really good time and getting pushed in or jumping into the ocean.  As you can see in the pictures and slideshow below…this wedding was full or fun, laughter, excitement and unexpected events…all in all I think everyone had a great time!  Thank you to Sheena Ratliff for all her help!

Pensacola Wedding Photography – Ashleigh and Donnie

Ashleigh & Donnie were recently married on June 11th on a gorgeous afternoon in Pensacola.  Their wedding took place at Paul’s on the Bay overlooking the beautiful Escambia Bay.  Ashleigh and Donnie are the kind of couple that compliment each other.   With Ashleigh’s bubbly personality and Donnie’s sense of humor they really make a perfect match.  I think laughter and having fun together is a big part of a healthy marriage and Donnie knows exactly how to make Ashleigh smile.  A lot of bride and grooms stand up during the toast and thank their guests for coming, but the thoughtful words they said to one another really made you feel the love that they have for one another.

I enjoyed so much spending the day with Ashleigh and Donnie and getting to know their families.  Thank you to Sheena with Lens Flare Photography for second shooting with me!  Congrats to Ashleigh and Donnie and thank you for allowing me to be part of your special day!

I also wanted to post a few of Ashleigh’s bridals that we did in Pace a couple months ago.  Doesn’t she look absolutely amazing?
