Destin Wedding Photography – Kristin and Bruce’s Wedding

I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and a happy New Year!  I am looking forward to what’s in store for 2012.  I recently had the honor of photographing Kristin and Bruce’s wedding.  It took place at Destin United Methodist Church with their reception right down the road at the Palms of Destin.  I had not met them before the wedding, but it was instantly obvious how much they love each other and their families.  Thank you for allowing me to capture your wonderful day!

Thank you to Rebecca for second shooting and hanging with me the whole day! :)

Santa Rosa Beach Photography – Rachel and Gordon’s Engagements

Rachel and Gordon are such a cute couple and so fun to be around.  They had neat creative ideas for their engagement session as they love to spend time together outdoors.  We went to the beautiful Eden State Park in Santa Rosa Beach for the session.  Every time I go to Eden I find a new little area to photograph in.  Although the horse flies were biting us like crazy we had a great shoot.  I am super excited to share a few of my favorite shots from their engagement session and can’t wait until their wedding next year!

Destin Wedding Photography – Paige and Brandon

Paige and Brandon are from Alabama and recently came to Tops’l Beach Resort to get married.  They had a very small ceremony on the beach with a couple close friends.  The day before the weather was looking pretty scary, but WOW it turn out to be a beautiful day.  We also did a small shoot in Rosemary Beach right after the ceremony.  I loved hanging out and getting to know them both.  Paige and Brandon are such a sweet couple and definitely made the day fun!

Destin Wedding Photography – Kristal and Greg

Kristal and Greg are good friends of ours so when they asked us to attend and photograph their wedding we were extremely excited.  They could not have asked for a more beautiful day to get married on.  Their wedding was laid back and relaxed under a pavilion in Destin.  We really enjoyed celebrating with their friends and family…here is a sneak peak from their special day!

30A Wedding Photography – Bridal & Trash the Dress

I’m so excited to share these pictures with you. My sister, Shelley was a real trooper in doing this shoot. She offered to do a trash the dress session for me at the farm. She purchased a wedding gown, had her makeup done and spend 3 hours with me going from location to location. Oh, did I mention that it was 110 degrees outside. I was assisted by my Mom and cousin Amanda. They helped carry the flowers, fan, towels, water and entertained us throughout the afternoon.

Just a hint of what is to come. Yes, that is my sister – on a horse – in a bridal gown – in a pond. Not a sight you see every day. Can’t tell you when I have sweated so much or had so much fun. Keep watching, she says she’ll do it again when the weather is cooler :)
